NanoClean is an innovative solution designed for the precise cleaning of dental 3D impressions made with high inorganic filler resins. This product was developed to eliminate the need to use aluminum oxide in the blasting process and remove inorganic particles sedimented on parts after washing in alcohol, which often resulted in loss of definition and accidental perforation of printed parts. The use of aluminum oxide in blasting is a common practice in cleaning processes in dental prosthesis laboratories, on milled parts. However for printed parts, this technique presents several problems.
Loss of Definition: Aluminum oxide is abrasive and can compromise important details of printed parts, negatively affecting the final quality of dental elements.
Excessive Time and Costs: Blasting parts is a time-consuming process, requiring specific equipment, and increasing operational costs.
Damage to Parts: On delicate surfaces, the use of aluminum oxide can reduce the detailing of printed parts, and in cases of excessive use, even perforation and damage.
Application Methods:
Brush: Ideal for localized areas or smaller pieces. Apply NanoClean to the desired surface using a clean brush. Gently scrub to ensure product penetration. Remove excess with compressed air.
Reservoir Brush: Designed to streamline the application process. The reservoir automatically releases NanoClean as needed. Procedure similar to using a conventional brush, with the added advantage of controlled product release.
Immersion Bath: Recommended for complex geometries or multiple pieces simultaneously. Immerse the piece in a container filled with NanoClean for a specified period. Remove the piece and eliminate excess with compressed air. Ultrasonic activation, if available, can enhance the cleaning effect.
Function as Bonding Agent:
In addition to its cleaning function, NanoClean prepares the resin surface to receive glaze, UV makeup, or other finishes. Its chemical composition promotes adhesion to these materials, resulting in superior aesthetic durability.
